The Jazz Festival in Skógar features a selection of Icelandic jazz artists who invite guests on a journey through different aspects of jazz music.

DJÄSS performs dynamic and original music where freestyle, modern jazz and Icelandic music intertwine in a lively interplay. The members of the trio are Karl Olgeirsson who sings and plays piano, Jón Rafnsson on double bass and Kristinn Snær Agnarsson on drums.

Kristjana Stefánsdóttir’s Quartet enchants guests with powerful singing and silky smooth interplay where piano and guitar create a warm atmosphere. Kristjana is accompanied by Vignir Þór Stefánsson on piano, Fannar Sigurðsson on guitar and Þorgrímur Jónsson on double bass.
