7 Peaks at Heimaey is an event that takes place every year in the Westman Islands. This year there will be 7 Peaks on Heimaey on Saturday 17 July and starts at 12:00.
There are a total of 7 peaks: Stórhöfði, Sæfjall, Eldfell, Helgafell, Heimaklettur, HÁ HÁ and Dafjall / eggjar. It is divided into three groups, beginners, brisk and fast. Everyone finds their speed. We recommend that people pack up and enjoy the Westman Islands in this fun hike.
This is a total of 18 km and it takes about three to five hours to walk/jog/run the route, but it all depends on how you want to tackle the Seven Peaks.
Equipment for this party is good off-road shoes and the running address if you are going to run, otherwise walking shoes and protective clothing suitable for the weather.
