Located in a rural area on the south coast, we offer six charming cottages on a peaceful family run horse farm.
Each cottage is 32 m², designed perfectly for two and comfortably accommodates up to three adults.
Tucked away from traffic and ideally positioned for exploring South Iceland, Áskot is your base for a multi-night stay, for exploring the Golden Circle, waterfalls, glaciers and black sand beaches.
Áskot features a specialized indoor swimming pool for horse training—the only facility of its kind in the country. This swim training takes place annually, running from winter well into the summer. Guests staying with us have the unique opportunity to meet the horses and even witness the swimming sessions firsthand.
