At Bjarmaland in Laugarás, we offer accommodation in two beautiful, thoughtfully designed tiny cabins. Each cabin is ideal for two guests and features a comfortable double bed and a well-equipped kitchen. Laugarás, in the Bláskógabyggð area, is a small village that has grown around healthcare services and horticulture. The area is rich in geothermal hot water, and just a 5-minute walk away you’ll find the newly opened Laugarás Lagoon, along with the high-quality restaurant Ylja. Bjarmaland is also home to an art gallery showcasing and selling works by Icelandic artist Úlfar Örn, alongside selected souvenirs and local items to remember your trip. We are perfectly located for exploring Iceland’s Golden Circle, with Skálholt and Reykholt close by, and Friðheimar within easy reach.
