Price description

Free of charge

Did you know that in Reykholt is the biggest cucumber production of Iceland, the biggest flower production of Iceland and the biggest strawberry production of Iceland? In Reykholt you can also find two popular restaurants, guesthouses, a camping area, and a few more companies hidden behind the trees.

This summer creates a unique opportunity to get to know the culture of Icelandic towns and villages and what better way is there to do that than through the taste buds?

Reykholt Gourmet Food Walk invites guests to get to know Reykholt in Bláskógabyggð, along with everything it has to offer. The walk stops on various places where guests are told about the history and the specialties of Reykholt, offered a taste of each place, and offered to purchase some local products to take home.

Reykholt Gourmet Food Walk is every Friday at 11:00 throughout the summer. The walk takes approximately 1 hour and is fairly easy, so it is suited for every age.

Reykholt Food Walk is free of charge but we ask our guests to please book in advance. For more information and to book, please contact
