Interpretive walk: Heinaberg

Vatnajökull National Park offers an interpretive walk with a ranger every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from june 15th - august 14th at 10:00 AM.
Meeting point is at the start of the road to Heinabergsjökull just by Road nr. 1.
From there we will drive to Heinabergslón with one short stop on the way. 
From the parking lot by Heinabergslón we will walk a short loop around the lagoon and over glacier moraines. The interpretive walk itself will take about 1 hour with the whole trip being around 2 hours.

Please notice that the dirt road to Heinabergsjökull is not suitable for smaller vehicles.
