All week days (Mondays - Fridays) from 1st of July - 13th of August rangers offer guided interpretive walks around the Heinaberg area.
A ranger will wait by the junction by road number 1 to Heinabergsjökull and from there drive towards the glacier making one stop along the way, guests will follow using their own transportation.
Keep in mind that the road to Heinabergsjökull is not suitable for small cars.
There will not be an interpretive walk on August 3rd due to bank holiday.
