Mr.Iceland
Horseback ride and dinner with a Viking! Efri-Úlfsstaðir, our farm, is located right in the center of our greatest Saga: BrennuNjáls Saga. Arriving at our farm, you will be a part of our history, and you should also feel part of it. When we ride our horses, we ride on 1000-year-old tracks that the Vikings used to ride. We drink from the same river and look at the same mountains as the Vikings did. The horses are the foundation of all our tours, but our Saga, food, and insight give you a very special experience not to be found anywhere else.

Southcoast Adventure
Specializes in tailor-made private & luxury tours and all kinds of day trips around Iceland. Open schedule tours or private Southcoast Adventure was established in 2009 by Þorgerður Guðmundsdóttir and Ársæll Hauksson. To begin with, there was just ONE jeep that was used to offer trips to tourists and mostly Icelanders who wanted to see more of their beautiful country. Two years later, their first member of staff was hired. The company today has 28 vehicles of all shapes and sizes, including snowmobiles and 4×4 buggies. Initially, daily trips were offered to Eyjafjallajökul, Þórsmörk, and Fimmvörðuháls. Today, the company has grown considerably, and daily trips are offered in many vehicles to many destinations: snowmobile and buggy trips; twice daily departures to the ice cave; trips transporting luggage for those clients who are doing hikes to the various glaciers, mountains, and the interior; glacier ice-hikes as well as those up mountains and further inland. All of this and custom-made trips/adventures for those who thirst for something off the beaten track. Many of the staff are also active members of the local Search and Rescue, and this obviously is a bonus when dealing with Icelandic nature and the sometimes rugged environment. Thankfully, their unique skills have not often been called upon, but it is a reassuring skill to have. No two days are the same, and there is always a feeling of excitement for the next day at work and the adventures it may bring. The company prides itself on building incredible trips and memories for our clients, both locals and foreigners. Staff/guides are always encouraged to extend their knowledge as much as possible so that all clients are satisfied and the company aims always to improve their service. As mentioned, most of the staff/guides are from the surrounding areas – this is a huge advantage as it means that when needs arise, the local knowledge makes for a more comfortable working environment. Southcoast Adventure offers luxury Super Jeep tours in South Iceland, such as day tours, guided hikes, or customized tours. Book your Iceland adventure now! Buggy Tours: Buggy tours in Iceland have become increasingly popular over the last decade. ATV adventure tours are suitable for almost anyone in terms of fitness level. They are, of course, guided by professionals. On the buggy tours, you’ll be able to reach unique destinations and get in touch with the beautiful nature along the south coast of Iceland. Our perfect little mix of Little Bit of Everything Buggy Adventure tour. Experience our two-hour buggy adventure tour. The tour starts from our base, Brú Base by Road 249. After a short briefing where your guide takes you through safety procedures, we dress up in a waterproof snow/whole suit and helmet and hop into our buggy ride. Drive around the area between Fljótshlíð and Eyjafjallajökull. Visit waterfalls, drive on the Markaðsfljótaurar- tundra sand fields around Dímon, cross small streams, and stop at a viewpoint looking over Seljalandsfoss and Vestmannaeyjar (Westman Islands). Secret Iceland
Secret Iceland is licensed day tour provider authorized by the Icelandic tourist board since 2010.  Founders of Secret Iceland are the brothers Trausti and Guðmann.  They are born and raised in Vík í Mýrdal. Let us reveal to you the hidden secrets of Lakagigar Craters.    Lakagigar is nestled deep in the Icelandic highlands between the glaciers Vatnajökull and Mýrdalsjökull . This is like entering another world like no other place on earth.  Some have seen similarity with the land of Mordor in the epic adventure film Lord of the Rings based on the novel by J.R.R. Tolkien yet so beautiful and peaceful in the middle of the mountains and mossy green lava. Don’t risk your precious rental car crossing rivers on the rough track to Laki.  There is no insurance in the world that covers damage to your car when crossing rivers.    Crossing deep rivers and driving on rough mountain tracks are what the Icelandic Super Jeep was made for.  The Super Jeep was born in Iceland.  It’s a four-wheel drive, all-terrain vehicles equipped with massive suspension systems and tires ranging from 38″ to 46″ in size.  Besides using enormous tires, these vehicles have reshaped bodies to house the larger wheels, extended suspension, and a special lift kit to increase the ride height.   Most Icelandic mountain tracks and roads (f roads) are just for larger 4x4 vehicles with experienced drivers.  They are narrow little maintained tracks and there are rivers to cross and sharp rocks and pot holes hard to see on the way.  Let your expert local driver guide do the driving while he gives you informative comments about the history and geology of Lakagigar.  Among the places we visit in the tour is Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon, Fagrifoss waterfall, Tjarnargigur Crater and of course Lakagigar and the mountain Laki.   The tour begins in Kirkjubæklaustur, a southern town often nicknamed Klaustur by locals.  Many visitors to Iceland will find themselves in this historic location as they travel the South Coast; it is between the village of Vík Í Mýrdal and the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and is steeped in religious heritage.  Duration: 8-9 hours.  Total stopping/hiking time: 5 hours Available from 10th June – 30th September   We look forward to meeting you.
Arctic Rafting
From Gullfoss waterfall, a glorious canyon descends down, creating the perfect scenario for a fun rafting experience. The Hvítá river originates from Langjökull glacier and has a perfectly balanced mix of serene canyons and adrenaline pumping waves and rapids. On this beautiful rafting journey you raft down 7 kilometers, enjoying a view you can only experience while floating downstream in a boat. You will be making a stop at Brúarhlöð canyon where the thrill-seekers can cliff jump into the river below if the conditions allow. You will be outfitted in a wetsuit to make the experience enjoyable and a life-jacket to keep you afloat. Hvítá River is a class 2 river which means that there is plenty of fun and excitement but no previous rafting experience is required. This rafting trip is for everyone that fancies a little adventure and is suitable for most ages and abilities.  Rafting down Hvítá is an amazing way to spend the day and we firmly believe that no one should leave Iceland without experiencing the jaw-dropping views, splish-splashing down an Icelandic glacial river. After the excitement you can warm up in the hot tubs and sauna and relax and enjoy a cold beverage. We also recommend adding a delicious BBQ lamb or a hamburger (vegan options available) to your booking for you to enjoy at Drumbó River Base. Come join us and experience the power of the river. Grab your paddle & let’s go get wet!

From Coast To Mountains
We are a local family company that has been running trips in southeast Iceland since 1991. Our Summer Special is the popular Ingólfshöfði Puffin Tour. This adventurous journey starts on a tractor drawn hay cart, traveling 6 km across the black sands flats of the southeast coast. Our destination is the isolated headland and nature reserve, Ingólfshöfði, a home of thousands nesting seabirds, including puffins and the great skuas. The historical cape is named after the first settler of Iceland Ingólfur Arnarson, who spent his first winter in Iceland at the cape in 874 AD. For booking and more information, visit www.puffintour.is We also offer Ingólfshöfði Photo Tour, for serious photographers to photograph puffins in early morning couple of times a week in summer. Our Winter special is without a doubt, the Ice Cave Tour. In June 1997 we opened our restaurant in Arnanes with seats for 40 people. At the same time we built 3 bungalows here in Arnanes, each with 2 rooms with bath. Since then we have not built any new houses but instead we have tried to keep everything in good shape.
