Easter holiday is just around the corner – and consuming chocolate eggs on Easter Sunday is a long-standing tradition in Iceland.

Sweets manufacturer Nói Síríus has been busy making chocolate Easter eggs in the past months with the total production this year amounting to around 600,000 eggs, big and small. With the companies Freyja and Góa also producing the Easter treats, it’s safe to say that about one million chocolate eggs will hit the market, according to Iceland Review.

Happy Easter everyone – enjoy the nature, culture and the season’s tasty chocolate eggs!
